Designated Safeguarding Leads

Designated Safeguarding Leads

Named Governor for Safeguarding: Mrs Rebecca Holmes

As Safeguarding Leads we have the overall responsibility for the day-to-day oversight of safeguarding and child protection systems within our school.

We fully recognise the importance of providing an ethos and environment within school that will help children to feel safe and secure; encourage them to talk openly; and enable them to feel confident that they will be listened to.

Within our role we liaise effectively and supportively with all school staff and other agencies and always in the best interests of children and families. These agencies can include Early Help, Children's Social Care, CAMHS, Local Housing Associations and Domestic Abuse Services.

What to Do if You Have a Concern About a Child

If you have a safeguarding concern about a child or an adult, or if you would like confidential advice, please contact the school office on 01227 464956. The vigilance of families, staff and those in the local community helps us in protecting our school community.

Should you have a concern, we promise to listen carefully and respectfully. We work with the strictest of confidentiality and will not share any information you give us without discussing this with you first.

If you, or someone you know, is at immediate risk of harm please dial 999 or contact Children's Social Services on 03000 41 11 11.
