IQM Centre of Excellence

We are proud to announce that we have been awarded Centre of Excellence Status by the Inclusion Quality Mark assessment panel. This award shows our dedication to inclusive classroom practice where all children, regardless of need, are catered for. As one of only a small handful of schools in Kent to achieve Centre of Excellence status, we now look forward to widening our offer further - ensuring our children benefit from a fully inclusive environment which allows everyone to thrive.

"Staff are keen to remove barriers to learning and understand pupils’ needs in a holistic way, for example, by giving all pupils access to breakfast bagels to ensure they are alert and ready to learn in class."

"The newly adopted phonics programme has been instrumental in supporting all pupils, particularly those with SEND and the refugee children, who often arrive at the school with no English and minimal literacy in their own language.
